Chart

Why it Matters: The "Stress Meter" provides an overview of Fiscal Indicator Scores. The graph allows us to get an overall picture of the soundness of school districts, the trend of stability over time, and to quickly identify those in need of help. Conversely, this chart also allows you to see which school districts are doing well. The lower the number the more fiscally sound a school district is determined to be. There are three categories of scores grouped by color; shades of green, blue and red. By clicking the colored area of a column, the districts in that in range will be shown. (n055)

Data Source: The school district financial data comes from two sources. Historic data is provided by downloads from the State Department of Education. Future data is loaded by the respective school district financial department. (n040)
