The Groveland Township Building Official provides all inspection and building services to the Village of Holly as part of an existing agreement between the Village of Holly and Groveland Township.  

The Village did not fill a vacant building official position in June 2012 by utilizing Groveland Township's services thereby savings the Village approximately $30,000 in salary and benefit costs. 

In June 2012 the Fire Chief/Building Official began performing building inspections services for the Village of Holly on an as needed basis.

There have been no barriers to the implementation of these services and it continues to work well.
