Pension Notes:
The City of Hart does not, and has not, offered Pension Benefits to its employees.
OPEB Notes:
The discount rate used to measure the total OPEB liability was 7.35%. The projection of cash flows used to determine the discount rate assumed that the City will make annual contributions of $100,000 through 2024 while continuing to make retiree benefit payments from general operating funds. Based on this assumption, the retirement plan’s fiduciary net position was projected to be sufficient to make projected future benefit payments of current plan members.
