The 2010 - 2011 school district enrollments have been batch loaded into Munetrix. This means that your municipal dashboards will now compare school district enrollment as: Current Year 2010-2011 versus Prior Year 2009-2010. Due to the current state of school financing, enrollment is a significant factor for the fiscal health of a district.

It has come to our attention that the State Department of Treasury, after reviewing some EVIP compliance packages, has requested a note on the dashboard of communities that do not have Pension or OPEB programs. The Pension and OPEB notes that are already part of Munetrix are now displayed on the bottom of the dashboard as well as in the footer of the Pension and OPEB charts. We have created a training video that will help you edit these footnotes.

As a result of feedback from the Munetrix User Group, the Annual Data Status label "Audited" has been changed to "Historic." Your 2006 - 2010 data is now labeled "Historic" and locked as read-only. You can now label your 2011 data, for example, as "Audited" and still be able to edit the data.

The 2010 F65 data has been loaded into Munetrix for 1,806 Michigan municipalities. This load includes Revenues, Expenses, Total Debt and Fund Equity (Undesignated, Designated and Reserved).

When calculating a Fiscal Distress score for years 2011 and beyond, the algorithm has been modified so that the 2010 population census number is the basis for the Population Growth score as opposed to the 2000 Census population for years 2010 and earlier.
